We both remember having classes and participating in various clubs with Bill and enjoyed his friendliness and laughter. Hearing about his adult life from classmates helped to fill in the missing years. Bill sought us out at the 50th reunion and there was that same friendliness and humor along with a genuine "heartfelt" welcome to us. He was a very special man and we send our sympathy and prayers to his family. He will be missed by many. Sincerely, Marlyce and Leonard Bjeldanes

Sorry to hear about Bill. He was my homeroom "buddy" for three years and a favorite of Ralph Blake.

I have great memories of Bill - his freshman year a Valpariso, I traveled to Indiana to visit him for a fall social event and brought home a huge teddy bear.

He was a great guy.
