What sad news!  Blessing and comfort to family.  My memories of Bill are all positive and happy ones.  Was there any one more positive or upbeat than our friend William!  This loss is a big one for many of us--as they all are-- and coming too often.  Everyone take care!

Bill and I went thru church, high school and Valpo together.  He was always there for me, and I will never forget him.  "In the light, we see light!"

I remember Bill coming to my house in junior high for "Coke dance parties." What fun we had. May God grant him eternal rest.

How sad I was to hear of Bill's passing. As already said by many, he made us smile. Even  though most of us will be 72 this year, it still seems too soon, doesn't it??

Bill and I dated some in college and we had the best discussions about religion.  I can see why he became a Lutheran pastor. He was very sweet and considerate and I'm sure he helped many people discover the meaning in their lives through a vibrant faith.  I know many will miss him!

We both remember having classes and participating in various clubs with Bill and enjoyed his friendliness and laughter.  Hearing about his adult life from classmates helped to fill in the missing years. Bill sought us out at the 50th reunion and there was that same friendliness and humor along with a genuine "heartfelt" welcome to us.  He was a very special man and we send our sympathy and prayers to his family. He will be missed by many.     Sincerely,   Marlyce and Leonard Bjeldanes

Joe and I have wonderful memories of Bill.  He was always so full of life and ready with a humorous comment.

He was thoughtful and kind.  We had close connections early in the years after highschool but not lately.

Reguardless his loss will be felt.   Rest in peace old friend.

Bonnie and Joe Lilla

I just saw this on our website  very shocking  ..he was a leader all through confirmation and even beyond..

He now knows what we want to know..
