Comments:
After working four years in the Psychiatry Department at St Mary's Hospital, John worked for 30 years as a social worker for Hennepin County Human Services Department, mainly with clients living with a mental illness. He was known as the advocate who never gave up on his clients. He also taught Introduction to Psychology at Dunwoody Institute and volunteered as a counselor and supervisor at the Walk-In Counseling Center.
John loved to play golf, hunt and fish, and was a lifelong student of politics and sports.
