Eric was a grade school through high school friend and teammate. The last time I saw him was at a funeral for another very close friend. He was always smiling and was just a wonderful man.
He was one of the gang of us kids that spent every spare minute at Keewaydin field playing every
sport imagineable. Those were the best of times.
I have so many great memories of Eric as kids growing up and all the years through high school.
I too have been touched by Eric for many golden years growing up. We played baseball, hockey and football together from grade school thru high school....and Eric was one of our leaders. We also did Band in grades 7th thru ninth and even tried in 9th grade to creat a smallband of our own. He has been missed at Nas's gathering's but never forgotton. R I P buddy
I remember when Eric asked me to design a fibeglass face mask for his role as the golie on the RHS hockey team . Eric would often come to school with his eyes almost shut having been hit by a puck between his eyes.
Eric's death due to issues related to Alzheimer's is a tragedy. His contribution to medicine was amazing and fortunately recognized during his life time. My sympathy to Eric's wife, children, and family.
Remember Eric from 6th Grade when he was the center on our City Champs Football Team. Amazing what he accomplished in his Medical Career and all babies he helped and their Families . Will miss him at the 'Teddie Lunches . Another member of our 61 Class that is no longer with us. Condolences to family .
