Kajsa was my "sister" for one year, living with my family while attending RHS. I brought a beautiful picture of her at the 35th; she had passed before that. Had many migraine headaches that year. We would leave her alone in her bedroom to "sleep" it off. Maybe these headaches had something to do with how she passed.
Her husband, Bo, loved her so, so much. It was a hard time for him and the children which are obviously grown and leading their own lives now. Am going to try and reach Bo before I leave for the reunion to see what everyone is about today.
Kajsa was extremely "smart" and streetwise too. Her father gave my mother a super deluxe Huskvarna sewing machine. I think he ran the company; not sure? Her mom and dad and my folks became fast friends. I somehow think from the last news I received many year's ago that both of them (Marte and Gunner) have deceased. Mom went to be with Jesus on 7-7-07; she would have been 93 on 7-11 anyway. I missed her passing in the nursing home by 10 minutes; I think it was to be that way. We had said all we needed to before that nite.
Miss you Kajsa - especially on the 35th reunion- as it was very close to when she died, rather suddenly. When mother and I found out just before that reunion, we were very saddened.
Hope to bring pics of her times with our family if I can sort thru my husband's "junk" in our garage. I have many picture albums of those days with our family --we did everything together, family vacations, socials, church, etc., etc.. I certainly hope Bo was able to find a helpmate later on.
