JIM BRADSHAW

Currently our son, Justin, is serving our Country as a Military Intelligence Officer (Captain) and has recently returned safely from Iraq. Continue to keep him in your prayers. His wedding to Elizabeth took place October 1, 2010 in Stillwater, MN and reception followed at the Minnesota Science Museum. Justin now has a civilian job with EcoLab in the area of water quality management. His wife, Elizabeth works Doc's as part of a neurological society. Justin recently received his Master's at Concordia and Elizabeth her Bachelor's Degree. Elizabeth is now working her Master's. Justin continues as a Captain with the National Guard Red Bull's and holding down a position with water quality improvement at EcoLab.
Our son Jason has worked with me over 13 years in our family business--yes, there is a next generation for the Bradshaw business. I would be lost without him. His wife, Brea, is a emergency room nurse at Lakeview Hospital and PICU nurse at Gillette Children's Specialty Care. Troy continues as an owner of a property management company, and his wife, Pam, is a 911 operator in Washington County. Rebecca writes from New York for El Decor magazine, and her husband, Jon, continues leading companies to success. Both Bec and Jon are heavily involved in their new venture named "evolve", trying to eliminate gun violence. Recently appearing on CNN Piers Morgan show. Of course, Jayne is at my side and is VP and Sec. of our Company and a continous supporter of my reckless lack of focus. A full time job for her.
Jayne and I have enjoyed our involvement in Reunion planning and look forward to our 50th Class Reunion. This reunion will be exciting!!!!! We continue to both work in our family business helping people Celebrate the Life of a loved one at the time of loss. Currently we have seven locations in the metropolitan area. They are known as Bradshaw Celebration of Life Centers. Soon to appear in Time magazine to feature their new Green Cremation process. We have been blessed with the opportunity to visit and immunize kids in Ethiopa, build homes in Bangladesh and tour in Ukraine. There is still much to do in this world for those less fortunate than both of us.

More to come when I have time to sit at my computer and tell our story. Actually life has been so full it would take an entire book the size of Hawaii to complete. I will write when I retire, if that ever happens. No time yet!!!

I want to thank all who attended the 50th reunion for Class of 1961. It was a smashing success with graduates from over 30 states and District of Columbia attending. Over 345 attending the dinner, 31 golfing, over 45 on bus tour, and approximately 150 attending the final "wrap up" party on Saturday evening. The committee did outstanding work and the results were beyond expectation. Even 4 teachers attended!!
We were a great class and the events for the 50th will long be remembered.
